Want to conserve gasoline?  Carpool.  I know, I know, you’ve heard this a million times.  It really does help to carpool, though.  Don’t just think long trips either—I have picked up a friend who lives down the road to drive just a few miles away.  Not only does it make the trip more enjoyable, but it keeps one of us from using a car and wasting gas.
